If we decide to work together, my aim will be to provide a safe and professional space where we can build a strong therapeutic relationship which will enable you to talk freely about whatever it is that brings you to therapy.
I work in a down-to-earth friendly way utilizing the models of several different therapeutic approaches: person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic. You may need help with situational issues like bereavement or illness, divorce or job loss, or you may be struggling with recurring personal issues like anxiety, depression, anger or difficulty in relationships.
Whatever it is that is causing you to struggle, talking to a professional can help when talking to family or friends is not enough, or is not appropriate. The anonymity and confidentiality that counselling offers is a truly unique experience and one that we can all benefit from. You are not alone, we are all subject to 'the human condition'.
