My practice is grounded in my commitment to create a safe, confidential, secure and non-judgemental environment where my clients can freely explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours at a pace that feels right for them. I work with a variety of issues including self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stress, work related issues, loss and grief, fertility and parenting issues and many more. Together we can explore the deeper meaning of why we do the things we do, patterns of behaviour, raising awareness, understanding, restoring a sense of self and purpose.
Having worked in the NHS for 40 years as a midwife and a nurse, as a trainee psychotherapist I am able to combine my skills, experience and knowledge of pregnancy, birth, parenthood into my work as a therapist. My approach comes from a position of mutual respect and valuing self and others using Transactional Analysis as my core modality.
