I'm Max (he/him), a BACP-registered Gestalt counsellor and therapist working online and in person in Kings Cross London, Wimbledon, and Croydon. I work with adults, young people, and creative professionals — including LGBTQ+ folks and people who've faced discrimination or systemic barriers. You might be feeling anxious, depressed, burnt out, or uncertain about your identity or relationships. Perhaps you're looking for a space to make sense of your experiences, rebuild confidence, or find a deeper sense of belonging. I can offer a space to feel more grounded, understood, and connected to yourself and others.
My approach is Gestalt, trauma-informed and relational, grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I draw on experience in LGBTQ+ mental health and asylum support, and bring a systemic awareness to therapy: exploring how identity, belonging, anxiety, depression, and wider contexts shape our mental health, wellbeing, and sense of self.
I support people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, burnout, relationships, identity, and LGBTQ+ issues. In the therapy room we work collaboratively to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward the life and relationships you want.
