I hold an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and have worked in mental health since 2016, providing support within both the NHS and third-sector organisations. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is fundamental to creating lasting change. My approach is to offer a warm, empathetic space where clients can explore their concerns in a non-judgmental environment. I view therapy as a means of helping individuals achieve greater self-acceptance, improve relationships with others, and overcome destructive behavioural patterns, ultimately leading to more fulfilling lives.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I offer an initial 20-minute consultation free of charge, providing an opportunity for you to discuss the issues you'd like support with, and to assess if I am the right counsellor for you. This session also allows us to decide if we can work together effectively.
