Hello. I passionately believe that to achieve a successful outcome in counselling, a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship is essential. My approach is collaborative and client-centred to work with you to achieve your therapeutic goals. I primarily use a psychodynamic therapy model in my work. This approach differs from other psychotherapies as it focuses on making sense of your current difficulty and the feelings, thoughts and associated memories that may have brought you to your current situation.

I can work with a range of presenting issues. I am especially experienced in working with clients who have experienced relational trauma during childhood, which has left them impacted in their view of themselves and the quality of their relationships.

I can draw upon different models of therapy, to meet the needs of the client. Whether that be systemic, narrative, EMDR or psychodynamic. I have worked in university counselling services, the NHS, the Humanitarian Sector and secondary schools.
