Hi, I'm Matt, thank you for reading my profile. I'm a Chartered and Registered Clinical Psychologist working with adults of all ages who are experiencing psychological difficulties. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, fears and phobias, trauma, grief, loss and bereavement, work related stress, adjustment to significant life events, parenting stress, family and relationship difficulties, low self-esteem or confidence issues, I can help you to deal more effectively with the challenges that life throws at you, to focus your efforts on the goals and values that are most important and so move towards living the life you want.
I provide accessible, high quality, evidence based psychological assessment and treatment tailored to your individual needs. I specialise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which can help you build a life worth living whilst teaching you a set of skills to help you handle painful experiences so they have less impact and influence over you.
We all experience psychological difficulties at some point in our life - it's part of what makes us human. However, we don’t have to be overwhelmed by them. If you would like to better understand and learn effective skills to cope with difficult thoughts and feelings when they show up - skills that you can use in all areas of your life - then get in touch.
