I believe therapy is a life-affirming process which can support you through difficult times and enable you face your future with greater insight, confidence and preparedness. I work with people to help them to find their way, make changes and move forward. I am committed to identifying and working with what it is that blocks us and what it is that helps us to change and cope with the losses, hardships and conflicts internally and in our relationships with others and the world. Troubles and problems may arise when we are stuck or feel overwhelmed and isolated.
I offer twenty-five years of informed, successful and diverse experience in public and private settings including a substantial private practice in South London as well as a range of NHS primary care services in London and North Liverpool. Whilst in London, I worked as a specialist trauma therapist at the Traumatic Stress Service at the Maudsley Hospital.
I am a very experienced, warm, perceptive and dynamic therapist. I am patient and thoughtful and able to enable people to work through what maybe painful,or puzzling, so this can be understood and made sense of. I bring to the work a background in the creative arts and many years of working with a diverse range of clients in NHS and private sector.
