I am a qualified counsellor with nearly 30 years experience. I work exclusively with couples, and only online, unless you live local to me. I can help with the dissatisfaction that often seems to follow the initial besotted phase, repetitive conflict, affairs, loss of emotional connection or passion, and sexual issues. I also specialize in parenting problems. Currently you may be thinking the person you found may not be the 'right' one after all, and that there's a mythical perfect partner out there. Your task may well be not to find a new right person to love, but to reconnect with and love the right person you already found.
Couples therapy is usually for ninety minute appointments. There are often two aspects to the therapy: Coaching in the form of skills/tools you can utilize (relationships are complicated, and we get no training in how to be successful in them), and secondly, healing work on any developmental wounds or traumas which may be impacting your current situation.
My approach is down to earth, practical, positive and occasionally even fun. The fee per session is £300. I also offer 'marathon' therapy for intensive repair and rebuilding. 10 sessions for £2,000.
