Despite the bulk of my work centering on children I also work with adults through a range of mental health challenges, from mild to more complex difficulties. With 17 years of experience, I specialise in complex trauma.
My approach is compassionate and focused on promoting reflection & growth. In my work, I don’t ask "What is wrong with you?" Instead, I explore "What has happened to you?"
This perspective allows us to understand the root causes of your struggles and start the process of healing.
I offer assessment and treatment, grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy&CBT, drawing on insights of compassion-focused therapy, cognitive analytical therapy&systemic approaches. I take a holistic view of healing, recognising the interconnectedness of mind&body, including sleep, nutrition and exercise. I also offer autism&ADHD assessments.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in achieving positive outcomes.
