Through a trauma sensitive lens, I use various methods to help you in navigating your challenges, such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, or ADHD, to name a few. My dedication lies in guiding you through exploring specific aspects of your life during our sessions, enabling you to develop deeper self-awareness and understanding of your circumstances at a pace that feels safe and suitable for you. I have extensive experience working within the Jewish culture, and being South African, I am able to do sessions in Afrikaans as well.
I am a firm believer in science, and therefore use evidence based modalities. I adapt sessions to your needs using a variety of modalities such as CBT, EMDR, Bilateral Stimulation, Rewind, Creative and Experiential input and many more while providing you with a non-judgmental space to explore your experiences and challenges in everyday life.
I understand that reaching out is difficult, trusting not easy and fear of being judged and labeled real. My approach focusses on "What's happened to you?", rather than asking, "What is wrong with you?".
