My Name is Mark. I specialise in helping people overcome and gain recovery from Sex Addiction, and have been doing so since 2009. During this time I have tailored my style of therapy to enable my clients to not only gain as much insight to their own addiction, but also the tools to live a more fulfilling life free of addiction. I still feel sex addiction is a taboo area in today’s society where very few people including general counsellors do not fully understand the severity and impact caused.
My practice is formed primarily in the Person Centred Approach which enables clients to self govern and find your own way through the difficulties you may face, rather than being told what to do. In addition I have received training in other areas such as Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I offer a very non-judgemental safe space to work in.
It can be a struggle to find the right counsellor, who we are comfortable with, but equally fully understands the difficulties we may be facing. As a good working relationship is of the highest importance to my therapy, I offer a half price introductory session to help you make a better informed decision as to whether I am the one.
