Whether you are struggling with anxiety/panic, stress, depression, trauma, often related to relationships or family, or physical illness, I offer a safe space, using a wide range of treatment types, working out with each client what would be most helpful, in both Western therapies such as CBT and DBT, couples therapy and Eastern energy/body work which can work together holistically towards healing both body and mind. We would initially explore what brought you to therapy and decide what would help most to make a sustained improvement in your feelings, your thinking, and all aspects of your physical and mental health and wellbeing.
I am a practising integrated counsellor with further certification in addictions/substance misuse, and a specialist interest in relieving stress, healing trauma, enhancing self-esteem and mending disturbed relationships. I have worked in a GP surgery, privately, with Agencies like Mindwise, Lifeline, RCN, and Childline, with both young people and adults.
I believe the relationship between client and therapist is of utmost importance in any therapeutic work, and I will work collaboratively in a way that benefits you.
