I am a UKCP Registered Clinical Psychotherapist and have been in Clinical Practice since 2003. I am down to earth, friendly and believe therapy is a collaborative process - my job is to help you find in a way that works for you not somebody else. No one type of therapy suits everyone so I deliberately integrate a number of approaches into my work to suit each individual's needs. I know life can be tough and sometimes overwhelming so offer a place where we can talk about what is most difficult so we can make sense of it for you. I offer in person and online therapy (using Zoom or Teams).
Registered as a Psychotherapist with the UKCP and NLPTCA, I have Post Graduate Training in Contemporary Psychotherapy including Psychopathology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neurolinguistic therapy, Gestalt, and Clinical Hypnotherapy. I have also trained at the Mindfulness Centre at Oxford University's Department of Psychiatry.
I am very happy to initially discuss your needs on the phone, then in your initial session if within the first half an hour you don’t feel I am the right therapist for you, you can leave without charge. This also affords me the time to assess if I think I can help you - otherwise I will suggest alternatives treatments for you.
