I am an experienced BACP Accredited and Registered Integrative Psychotherapist offering counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples and adolescents in both short- and long-term psychotherapy. I am able to tailor my approach using a variety of techniques drawn from Relational, Person Centred, CBT, Mindfulness based CBT, Existential Psychotherapy and Transactional Analysis therapies. This enables me to work in a very collaborative way with my clients to ensure that I am continuously using an approach that feels right for them.
I have a background of working for 20 years in the field of mental health for the voluntary, private and statutory sectors, including the NHS. My private practice is located on Bridge Street in the heart of the historic market town of Bishops Stortford, which is in walking distance of the train station and only a 5 min drive from the M11.
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of East London. I also have a Dual Honours BSc Degree in Biology and Psychology . I'm a member of the BACP adhering to their ethical framework.
