I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist (BACP) and psychodynamic counsellor (BPC), qualified to Master of Science level (Birkbeck, University of London). Having worked in a London-based GP practice on a pro bono basis for several years, I have helped patients from many backgrounds, nationalities, ethnicities, religions, genders, and sexual orientations with the internal, and often, unconscious conflicts that have negatively impacted their emotional and mental well-being and that prevented them from living their everyday life to the fullest.
I run a private practice, based near Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, where I work with adults in person across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. I only work online with clients after at least a year of in-person sessions. I also teach students at Masters level and I'm studying for a doctorate (Doctor of Clinical Practice & Research) at the University of Exeter.
Sessions are 50 minutes in duration and cost £60. The first two sessions act as an extended assessment, in which we explore the issues of concern, your current situation, and when comfortable to do so, your past. If we agree to proceed beyond these sessions, the therapy will continue every week, at the same time and in the same place.
