I am an experienced psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with adults, young people and couples. I have a natural ability to empathise with my clients and am able to offer the support they need whilst working together to find tailor-made solutions. My clients often reflect on how their own journey has progressed through therapy with me, and many of my referrals come through word of mouth and the resulting network I have developed over the years. Before training to be a therapist at the University of Surrey, I worked in management and Human Resources. I currently hold a post teaching Psychology.
I make use of an integrative approach, drawing on various therapies including humanistic therapies, (person-centred Approach), solution focused, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My training allows me to draw from a wide range of psychological assessments and therapeutic techniques. I am able to tailor my approach to your individual needs.
The therapeutic relationship is important and as such I aim to build a secure and trusting relationship from the outset, providing a safe environment in which my clients can explore their problems, thoughts and feelings. I offer both short and long term therapy, depending on the needs of the client. I offer daytime, evening and Skype appointments.
