I get that it’s not easy to ask for support and admit to vulnerability. I view therapy as as a journey of discovery, healing and growth. Through 'experiential learning' and 'dialogue' we will work with your ‘embodied awareness’ of ‘how’ you are in relationships, ‘how’ you make choices and ‘how’ you co-create your world. We will look at where you feel 'stuck' and what seems 'difficult'; we will 'stay with' the feelings and complexity that may unfold. I believe change happens organically when we have enough 'support', fully acknowledge the situation we are in, and commit to work.If that resonates with you, please contact me.
I am a Gestalt therapist with Polish background. I live and work in Edinburgh. My special interest are: relationship issues, loss and cultural diversity. I also know how trauma (developmental, singular,complex, transgenerational,collective) affects individuals and families. My clinical placement was with patients with long-term, multiple caring roles.
Growing up on the edges of different cultures, and experience of living in Poland, Germany and the USA often left me wondering where I belonged.I know of the challenges diverse background may bring to families, relationships and work. I also understand the pressure related to family, gender, ethnicity, race,LGBTQ+ difference, social class, and religion.
