Hello, and welcome. I’m Marielle, a therapeutic counsellor and registered member of the BACP experienced in working with adults of all ages and backgrounds. Over the years I have developed a capacity to attune my clients that enables me to adapt my approach to your particular needs using various counselling modalities. I am experienced in working with a range of issues and I have a special interest in Neurodivergence, particularly ADHD and Autism. My practice is Neuro-Affirming and I am aware of the traumatic impact of a lifetime of not fitting in.
Through life experience as well as in my work with clients, I have gained a deep understanding of the struggles that come with feeling and experiencing the world differently. These differences can leave us feeling drained, misunderstood, and make navigating relationships difficult, leading to anxiety and isolation.
Seeking professional help can be overwhelming which is why I am mindful of creating a warm and inclusive approach to make you feel welcome and safe. I am passionate about mental health and feel privileged to offer a space where people can feel accepted and take the first steps in understanding themselves.
