Hello, and welcome to my profile. You may be at a crossroads in life, struggling with anxiety/stress or depression. You may be looking to change something, find clarity, or find relief from the pain. Or you may simply want to be and feel heard. I am a fully qualified psychodynamic therapist (Masters University of Oxford) and psychologist (BSc), with 17 years experience of working with people. I have enormous respect for those who dare to seek help. This takes courage, but it will also likely be the most rewarding work you will ever do. And you do not have to do it alone.
What might working together look like? We will work together to build trust and in a safe space, whether online or face to face. You will be able to tell your story at your own pace, and I will be alongside you, listening. At times, I might ask questions to clarify what you think or how you feel about things.
At times, I may offer my thoughts about what may be going on - and you will be able to tell me whether that feels true or we need to think a little more. Slowly, things begin to make sense, clarifying why you feel how you feel and what might help you feel better. Things can be let go of. A freer, happier you can emerge.
