I am an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, accredited by the BABCP, an accredited EMDR Practitioner, and I am trained in IFS therapy. I am also a clinical supervisor with more that 15 years of experience in the NHS and in private practice. I work with people with a variety of psychological difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, PTSD / C-PTSD, loss, and relationship difficulties. I work with people who experience distress in the perinatal period and I also offer parenting support. I also specialise in adapting CBT for Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD.
CBT, EMDR and IFS are powerful therapeutic modalities that can effectively address a wide range of difficulties. I find that integrating CBT, EMDR and IFS offers a holistic approach to mental health, by focusing on the specific needs and experiences of the individual. I offer an integrative approach or focus on one of these therapies depending on your needs
We will initially arrange an assessment session to discuss the reasons you are seeking therapy for and talk through a therapy plan. The sessions are usually 60minutes long. The frequency of therapy sessions and the length of therapy depends on your needs and your preferences.
