Sometimes it all becomes too much! An unexpected challenge, too many demands, not enough time... With help we can find an internal space where we can fortify and support ourself, a space where we feel we belong. As social beings we can be empowered with and through others to thrive and create, but sometimes those close to us cannot give us what we need. I am here to be that support.
My work as a therapist, for children and adults, is a privilege and I will be committed to professionally guiding and supporting your growth.
Along with my therapy work I am a Clinical Supervisor, developmentally supporting those supporting others.
I have worked with different types of abuse and neglect and supported in the navigation of challenges linked to this. I draw on a number of therapeutic modalities and my initial psychodynamic training encourages the deep exploration of issues as well as the short-term navigation of a key presenting concern. The use of creative processing further enlightens.
It can be difficult to reach out and connect with another. I would love to hear from you and will endeavour to answer questions that will support you in gaining the help you need. We are all unique and respond to others and experiences, differently, and the finding of a therapist that 'sees' and responds effectively to 'us' is key to our continued growth.
