About
My clients have been of all ages and backgrounds. The commonality is the need to find practical and positive solutions to managing complicated emotions. By setting realistic and achievable goals, together, my clients and I forge a path forward for them, learning new thinking skills as we go, alongside home progress tasks and behavioural work too. It's a very collaborative experience and one which is powered by my clients' desire to change. I support people living through periods of anxiety or depression, relationship issues and self-development. An initial assessment session will help us decide if this therapy is right for you.
My transdiagnostic approach using REBT enables me to teach clients how to restructure their thinking related to their behaviours and emotions, whether that be unhealthy anger, anxiety, depression or jealousy, to name a few. REBT, as a specific form of CBT, aims to help clients really focus on the rational nature of their concerns while keeping goals in mind.
I love to build a positive and respectful relationship with my clients, using humour, real-world experiences and practicality within our sessions together. My clients are in the driving seat, but I'll check the Sat-nav and make sure you’ve got the right fuel to get you to your destination!
