I am a chartered psychologist and Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and an accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) practitioner and Fellow of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I am also a registered Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) practitioner with the Metacognitive Therapy Institute (MCT-I). In my practice I focus on developing a collaborative and client centred understanding of presenting problems together with tailor-making treatment programmes using either CBT or MCT. I have over 25 years experience working as a clinician.
My areas of expertise include addictive behaviours. anxiety problems (in particular generalised anxiety and worry, panic attacks, phobias and social anxiety), and depression/rumination. I also support clients in enhancing occupational functioning, achieving better work-life balance, improving cognitive performance, and managing work-related stress.
