Starting therapy can be a daunting and a big step in your life therefore, it is important that you choose the right therapist. I offer a free 15-minute phone appointment to talk about what brings you to therapy, your current circumstances and difficulties, and to together think about whether I can help you. Your first therapy session will be an assessment where I will ask you questions to understand your past, your present difficulties and what you would like to get from engaging in the therapeutic process. This session is a two-way process for both you and I to consider if we might be able to work together.
I am a fully qualified and BACP registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. I have worked as a Psychotherapist in university settings, corporate sector and private practice for several years. I also oversee the training and consultancy department at Mind working psycho-educationally with professionals to support them with their mental health at work.
I work relationally with individual from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of issues (e.g. anxiety, depression, relationships, loss, trauma). I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgmental environment to empower you to understand yourself and your difficulties.
