Welcome. It can feel difficult to start with counselling, so let me start by saying the work we do will be guided by your own choices and needs. You can express these in a confidential space of emotional safety and we can explore what is happening for you, better understand it and heal. As a qualified life coach I can also build on the therapeutic work to help you define and move towards your goals at a pace that suits and feels safe to you. I work with all aspects of identity in an inclusive non judgemental practice.
I have specialisms in working with racial and sexual identity in an neuroaffirmative way, areas where there is often little support and speaking to the right person can really help. I also offer couples counselling, supporting relationships through periods of difficulty and opening lines of communication, helping you both move forward with a stronger bond.
Your thoughts, feelings and experiences are unique, but it can help to express these to someone who has a specialist understanding of where you are starting from. Together we can find your way forward to help you better cope and explore what is happening for you and to support you through it. If you’re ready to do that, please contact me.
