Hi, welcome. I'm Maddy, a fully-qualified music therapist dedicated to helping both children and adults. Whether you struggle with emotional expression, self-esteem, or social connection, or need support in coping with trauma or mental health challenges, I am here to support you.
I specialise in working with individuals experiencing physical disabilities, emotional trauma, mental health challenges and neurodevelopmental disorders. Through music, I offer a holistic approach to healing that promotes both emotional and cognitive growth, enabling clients to express themselves and develop new ways of coping with life’s difficulties.
Music therapy utilises a host of different techniques such as song-writing, music technology, improvisation, listening to music, and guided relaxation. Music is a universal language, and you don't need to have any musical background or knowledge to access music therapy.
If you're looking for a safe and supportive therapy environment, music therapy could be a wonderful option. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to learn more or schedule a free consultation session. I’d be honoured to support you on your journey.
