Hello, I’m Maddison, a qualified Pluralistic-Integrative Neurodivergent Counsellor, with a warm, empathic, non-judgemental approach to working with clients, providing you with a supportive and safe space to explore, process and work through your unique challenges. Working pluralistically means that I value each client as an individual, who will have different needs at different times during counselling. As such, the therapeutic process involves flexible collaboration, and tailoring my approach to each session, to ensure that you are able to achieve whatever you may want from our sessions.
I have a personal and professional understanding of, and a special interest in, supporting Neurodivergent individuals. Being late diagnosed as Autistic and having ADHD at 23, as well as Chronic Illness, I am passionate about creating a neuro-affirming space for clients to make sense of themselves, and empower you to embrace your strengths and potential.
Sometimes we feel stuck and unhappy with how things are or how we view ourselves, and knowing how to change this can be difficult. I aim to encourage you to accept change as an inevitable part of life, and empower you make the changes you desire to help you, to help yourself turn the page over, and live the life you want to live as the person you want to be.
