I offer the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT - tapping) which is like acupuncture but without the needles. You tap on specific parts of your body whilst working on difficult experiences or emotions. It is an evidenced based treatment which means it has a robust body of research demonstrating its effectiveness. It's as effective as CBT. It helps a large variety of difficulties. It works by activating the parasympathetic nervous system (the system that makes the body relaxed) whilst thinking about difficult things so that the brain then associates the difficulties with relaxation in the future rather than distress.

Do you want space to talk about things that once seemed ok but are no longer working? Are you feeling disconnected from your relationships? Maybe something just feels…off, and you would like help to get back on track. It isn't always easy to know what that feeling is connected to so maybe a conversation with me would help you to untangle that and find some understanding. If some of this sounds familiar, drop me an email and together we can explore your thoughts and begin curating a life that feels more aligned with who you really are.

At any stage in life, we can experience changes or moments where it becomes difficult to cope with our thoughts and feelings. This can result in feeling stuck and not knowing how to process what we're experiencing. What can make this more difficult is knowing who or how to open up to others or feeling like what you're experiencing is too much for someone to understand. Having a therapist allows you to share all parts of you, parts that are accepted wholeheartedly without shame or judgement, which may not feel possible even with those you feel closest to.

Seeking support during difficult times can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re unsure what type of therapy you need or how counselling actually works. Many people arrive here after trying to cope alone — reading, researching, journaling, listening to podcasts, taking in endless online advice, or even using AI — only to find that the changes don’t last. Anyone can benefit from therapy, and you do not need to be in crisis to reach out. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, confused, anxious, low, or simply ready for change, counselling can offer a grounded and supportive space to help you find your way.

If you are feeling stuck in patterns impacting your relationships, career, or happiness, and feeling like you're on autopilot, I can help you break free from past influences that no longer work for you. Anxiety of all levels could be preventing you from feeling present in the moment but together, we will work to uncover its source and take away its power so you can get on with living a happier, less stressful life. I am particularly interested in helping with overthinking, stress, overwhelm and working with clients who feel they cannot be themself.

Do you feel constantly under pressure? Perhaps you’re the person that everyone relies on: the leader having to make high-stakes decisions, the professional who looks “fine” while feeling increasingly burnt out or the creative visionary expected to keep delivering in the face of depression or past trauma. You might be a student dealing with anxiety from the weight of expectations you face, and worried about your future in an uncertain world. Whoever you are, there is hope. When the patterns that once made you successful start to feel like a cage, I can help you transform.

You may be noticing a sense of feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected, and wondering where to turn next. Perhaps anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, or the echoes of past experiences are present. You may have been holding on to the past for sometime. You might be seeking a gentle, supportive space where you can feel truly heard and accepted, without judgement. In time, you hope to understand yourself more deeply, find greater emotional balance, and move forward with increased self-compassion and confidence, in a way that feels authentic to you.

What a fortunate encounter. You have landed here. It can be unnerving to arrive somewhere or meet someone for the first time. My aim is to create with you a safe sanctuary, in which to contemplate your journey. I will be a witness and a facilitator in your exploration of what is burdening you, of what it means to be you, as you create new possibilities or grow or whatever it is that brings you on this path. If you are committed to yourself, curious and willing, then I am here for you. You can read about my experience and qualifications here. Thanks

I'm really interested in people - who we are and why we become who we are. In order to understand ourselves it can help to talk about ourselves, our experiences and feelings. I can offer a safe, secure and non judgmental space where you can do this. Together we can work out why you have reached a point in your life that may be causing you problems, or why you may be feeling stuck. I work with people who are overwhelmed by their circumstances or feel anxious and depressed and find it difficult to move forward. Counselling can give you an opportunity to examine how you can change and improve your circumstances.
