Hello, I'm a counsellor and a trauma-focused therapist based in Aberdeen, Scotland. I offer one-on-one therapy sessions, either online or in-person. My professional , educational and volunteering journeys have enabled me to understand impacts of traumatic events (war, childhood abuse, and sexual abuse) on mental health. These adverse events can shatter everything you believe in, leaving you feeling lost, suicidal, not knowing who you are anymore. I can help you make new meanings, heal and grow. I am flexible in my practice where I integrate various evidence-based therapeutic interventions to meet your needs and foster healing.
I am a qualified Psychologist, Trauma-Focused Psychotherapist and a Person-Centred Counsellor, specialised in complex trauma and associated PTSD. I offe a safe confidential space to explore any posttraumatic responses, suicidal thoughts, relationship issues and grief. I engage to meet your experiences with full acceptance, care and empathic understanding.
I am skilled at building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, crucial for fostering healing and growth but it may take time to build.
