I aim for our sessions to be a collaborative space where you bring the expertise on yourself and your experience and I bring the psychological expertise and provide you with a sense of empowerment, understanding, knowledge and skills/tools you can take into your everyday life to improve your current functioning. I use a flexible approach to ensure we meet your individual needs and goals within sessions and I use an integration of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy & Person-Centred Therapy (Talking Therapy).
I specialise in women's mental health and relationships (with self and others). I am an expert in supporting clients to develop positive relationships with themselves so they can subsequently establish positive, healthy relationships with others.
It might be intimidating to begin therapy with a new therapist, but I want every client to understand that we work as a team and they are not alone. I strive to make the procedure as simple and worry-free for clients, so that all they have to do is concentrate on themselves.
