I am an experienced Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist practising from Nether Stowey in Somerset. I have worked in private practice for twenty five years and have experience with all aspects of human concerns. I aim to create an inviting space in which my clients are able to explore their deeper motivations and obstacles, thereby gaining insight and understanding and the potential to change things.
I have worked with many different aspects of difficulty but most recently with Boarding School Survivors, the Mid-Life Crisis, Trauma, and Anxiety; however ALL aspects of humanity are of deep interest to me. I have a strong belief in our inherent ability to heal emotionally as we do physically given the right support and care.
I aim to form a warm, safe and reliable relationship with my clients and allow them to really matter to me. I work with our relationship, as a template for the outside world. I love the natural and non-human world and encourage the healing power of nature both as a metaphor and an experience in therapy. I work from a garden room amidst flowers and birdsong
