As a child psychologist and parent, I understand how hard it can be to find the right support for your child or teen when they are struggling and need it most. Whether you have concerns about your child or teen's well being or development and they require individual support or you just want to know you are going in the right direction as a parent, I'm here to help. I will first complete an initial assessment with you and your child or teen to develop and understanding of the difficulties they face, which will then help guide treatment. We will then decide on the collaborative goals to work towards in therapy.
I am a friendly, down to earth and compassionate clinical psychologist with over twenty two years clinical experience working with children and teens within the NHS and private practice. I have a wide range of experience working with different types of emotional and behavioural difficulties. I specialise in working with children and teens with anxiety.
No parent, child or teen should to be struggling alone with emotional difficulties without appropriate psychological support. I can offer a therapeutic sessions to provide evidence based psychological intervention. I will signpost you and your child or teen to other forms of specialist assessment support if and when needed.
