I'm a Counselling Psychologist. I used to work in NHS services and I now work outside in nature. Therapy with me uses walk and talk appointments at parks in Cambridge or a nature reserve near St Neots. This provides a different experience than being sat inside and can change how engaging in therapy feels. Some people find it easier to talk about difficulties in walk and talk sessions. I provide therapy for a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, and couples counselling. I offer a free 30 minute telephone conversation to find out what help is needed and to answer any questions.
I worked in the NHS for 7 years providing assessments and psychological therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and counselling. Sometimes I incorporate mindfulness techniques. I've a special interest in identity as well as helping people manage long term health conditions, and major life changes. I work with individuals and couples.
