Relationships are central to our lives. How we relate to ourselves, connect with others, and engage with the world around us shapes our well-being and how we experience life. Inner conflict can push us into fight, flight, freeze or fawn responses that can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected. I work with clients on a range of issues connected to relationships, both with the self and with others.
These include anxiety, low self-esteem, attachment issues (with emotional intimacy and trust), anger, burnout, depression, addiction, breakups, difficult family dynamics, parenting, grief, loneliness, and more.
We may consider taking through relational problems with our friends, but they're not impartial, we're mindful of the impact of our disclosures, and they don't have the layers of insight to help us connect our present to influences from our past. My role is to support you towards enhancing your awareness, self-compassion and confidence towards change.
As a developmental attachment and trauma-informed therapist, I provide a safe and supportive space for reflection and growth. I can help you gain greater psychological insight, develop effective strategies for managing the present, deepen your understanding of your motivations and barriers, and make choices that align with your values and aspirations.
