About
Outside of my counselling qualifications, my biggest offering to you as a therapist is authenticity. Seeking out therapy can be intimidating and the last thing anyone wants is to be sat in a stuffy environment, trying to figure out what to say, whilst someone nods along, poker faced, scribbling furiously in a notebook! I like to infuse therapy with connection, kindness and the odd giggle to alleviate the heaviness from time to time. I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I blend person centred counselling, attachment theory and CBT, tailoring to your specific needs and preferences. Within this, you’ll have space to explore & organise your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, relationships, experiences, to ‘connect the dots’ or just simply to talk and be heard in a safe, supportive and none judgemental environment.
Arguably, the most important thing within therapy is that you feel safe, and gel with your therapist. That is why I offer a 30 minute free phone consultation, for you to ‘try before you buy’. If that sounds like what you're after, or if you’d like to find out a bit more, please do get in touch!
