About
Life can sometimes be overwhelming or you may feel you have lost your sense of direction. Counselling can help you to develop a deeper sense of understanding and personal awareness that enable you to better cope with change and the challenges that life throws at us. People seek counselling for a variety of reasons: Feeling anxious or worried about life and the future; Experiencing low mood or depression; During times of loss or loneliness; Relationships (at home or work) not going as well as you would like; Following redundancy, or wanting to change career; Identity issues; Feelings of frustration or anger; Low self-esteem.
I practice psychodynamically and consider therapy to be a process of self-discovery and growth. In our sessions together we can explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviour and experiences to try and understand how the past impacts the present in order to facilitate change and enhance your wellbeing.
I can offer a safe, trusting, confidential space to make sense of where you are and the difficulties you are experiencing, with the view to developing a greater depth of personal awareness.
