Hi, I’m Lucy. I’m an integrative counsellor based in Kent. I work with adults (17+) many of whom feel emotionally stretched, overwhelmed or stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-doubt or burn out. I am experienced in a variety of difficulties such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, childhood trauma & abuse. Many of the clients I work with are carrying a lot: caring for others, managing work & family life, or trying to make sense of long standing emotional difficulties. I offer a calm, reflective space where we can slow things down, make sense of what’s happening and find a way to move forward in a way that feels more manageable and grounded
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important facet to our work together. As a counsellor, I am completely separate from your personal life and as such I offer an atmosphere of non-judgmental empathy. I won’t give you advice, tell you what to do or give you my opinion because I believe that, ultimately, you are the expert on you.
Although I specialise in trauma, I am trauma-informed, not trauma-exclusive. This means that I can draw upon various modalities and techniques to meet your needs.
