I am a UKCP registered systemic and family psychotherapist offering therapeutic support to everyone from all backgrounds, of all ages. I aim to provide a safe confidential space where you can talk about anything in your life that may be uncomfortable, confusing or painful without fear of judgement. I have provided emotional and mental health support to individuals, couples & families for several years working within the NHS and educaction. I have my own private practice based in Godalming Surrey, and also work in CAMHS within the NHS. Systemic therapy is especially helpful where there is more than one difficulty having an impact.
I initially began my career as a mental health nurse & through this work, became aware of the importance of whole family wellbeing. My approach is collaborative & inclusive. Together we explore ways to help manage difficult feelings, find new ways of relating to yourself & others & establish strategies to support you through life crises or life changes.
At your own pace, we develop a better understanding of your strengths & values along with exploring stories & beliefs around distress that are impacting on all aspects of life, whilst building resilience, improving relationships and overcoming challenges. I work with transparency & offer a flexible, creative individually unique therapeutic experience.
