About
Hi I’m Loz, my pronouns are they/she. I believe that to create a nurturing space where you feel safe and open to explore the challenges that have brought you to counselling, I need to be the most genuine and empathetic version of myself I can be. Sharing my humanness with you is important to me and this is what guided me to become a Person-Centred counsellor. Our sessions will be led by you, allowing you to work at your own pace, while I take a gentle and holding approach to being alongside you through your journey.
I believe that in the absence of judgement and the presence of compassion, kindness and acceptance, it’s possible for you to heal and grow and find a more connected way of being with yourself and the world around you. I deeply value the importance of working in an ethically rooted way and I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative counsellor.
I am currently available to offer face-to-face, online or telephone sessions. Sessions are 50 minutes long and charged at £45. The therapy I offer can be long or short term and is open ended. It’s not always easy to choose the right counsellor, so please get in touch for a free introduction session to see if working with me feels right for you.
