Hi I'm Louise and I am a trauma informed counsellor working with young people (16+) and adults online throughout the UK. Supporting anxiety, trauma, grief, sexual violence recovery, childhood sexual abuse recovery, gender based violence, working with identity, or life challenges in a safe, compassionate space.
When it comes to counselling, I truly believe there isn’t a single “right” way to help everyone. We’re all unique with our own stories, challenges, and ways of making sense of the world so it makes sense that different people need different things from therapy.
That’s why I take a pluralistic approach to counselling.
The most important part of my work is collaboration. I see therapy as a shared process, where we work together to find what fits best for you. You’re the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you with em pathy, curiosity, and flexibility. We might try different ways of working, reflect on what feels right, and adapt as we go.
