I am an HCPC registered counselling psychologist. My main training is in Schema Therapy, CBT, EMDR and Person-Centred Therapy, but I also use techniques from other methods like DBT, Mindfulness-CBT, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. I have a degree in Mathematics from Oxford University, and a doctorate in Counselling Psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University.
I believe in a flexible and holistic approach. Every person is different, so I adjust my techniques to what each client needs. A big part of my work is about teaming up with the person I am helping after conducting a thorough assessment. I share a lot of resources and encourage homework.
