Finding a therapist can feel like a minefield. Ultimately you probably want to find someone to talk to that you feel comfortable with, and who can of course help. I understand how confusing and nerve-wracking it can be to consider therapy and take the first step. I provide clients with a supportive space in which to unpack their challenges. I will help you to get a better handle on what is happening for you. I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, significant loss and bereavement, childhood and midlife trauma, as well as difficulty understanding feelings.
I am trained in transpersonal therapy. This means working with feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations. Your challenges will be seen as signs of what you need more or less of in life rather than a pathology. It may be about working out what it is that you want from life, and spiritual concerns. It is both past and future focused.
If you are interested in working with me then please reach out to arrange an initial session. If you would like an initial 15 minute phone conversation prior to meeting, then let me know. If we decide to work together after our initial session, I will suggest an initial commitment of 6 sessions. Find out more and contact me at www.louiseearletherapy.com.
