I am a humanistic psychotherapeutic counsellor with NHS experience. I offer a warm, safe and confidential space in which you can explore what feels most important to you and whatever might be troubling you. I work with clients experiencing mental health difficulties, relationship problems, issues related to identity (sexuality, gender, neurodiversity and disability) and with clients who are experiencing (or have experienced) abuse, neglect, bullying and bereavement. I have experience of working with clients who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and/or have previously attempted suicide.
As a therapist I utilise concepts, skills and techniques from a wide range of theories and teachings. My work is grounded in trauma-informed practice and rooted in kindness.
Primarily guided by you, we will explore your present experiences, poignant memories, thoughts, feelings and dreams working towards a greater sense of ease in your mind and in your body.
I have lived and worked in the UK, the Middle East, South-East Asia and France and I know how it can feel to be displaced or disconnected. I have many years experience of building relationships with people (of all ages, races and cultures) and of facilitating change. I work mindfully, compassionately and honestly.
