Hi, I'm Dr Lizzie Sargeant, a Clinical Psychologist and I have trained to doctorate level in evidence-based psychological therapies. You may be reading this as you are seeking therapy. I am always struck by the strength in those that want to actively work in therapy to make things more manageable or fulfilling in their lives. It is a brave endeavour to develop trust in working with a therapist to support to making change at a vulnerable time. I have extensive experience of working with adults (18 plus) across a number of different difficulties.
I am an integrative clinical psychologist drawing upon multiple therapies to best suit the individual that I am working with, including cognitive behaviour therapy, compassion-focussed therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, systemic and psychodynamic theories.
