Hi, I am an experienced, qualified counsellor with many years experience of working with clients and families living with a diagnosis/ disability, Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Issues. This can be a challenging time for everyone and I can provide a safe, non judgemental space where individuals or families can bring their experiences and process their feelings. Clients have told me that this has help transform their lives, learning strategies and feeling empowered. You have already started the process by looking for a Counsellor, it is important to get the right person for you, so take your time.
I have a special interest in Autism and learning disabilities and particularly enjoy working with Parent/Carers and Children. Working therapeutically and using a variety of means, sand tray, clay, puppets arts and crafts can help children and adults alike. The most important thing is to feel safe with your chosen professional.
I view all behaviour as communication, spoken or otherwise. It is my role to help you understand what is being communicated and look at positive ways of managing whatever brings you to counselling at this time. If you like what you have read and would like a free 15 minute chat, please contact me via email.
