For all of us there are times when we need the support, understanding and guidance of others. Knowing there is someone you can trust, that will listen and try their best to help using all their knowledge and experience can be a powerful and transformative experience. I am passionate about guiding people on their journey to recovery and a meaningful life. Throughout my career I have specialised in helping people with eating disorders, and have over 10 years experience in NHS ED services. I am also experienced in working with people to overcome many other difficulties including low self-esteem, depression and anxiety disorders.
As a qualified clinical psychologist with additional, specialist training in CBT, I draw on a range of effective and recommended therapies to help you achieve your goals. I work alongside people every step of the way from gaining a shared understanding of their difficulties, to developing a plan and working together on making changes.
Deciding to start therapy, and finding the right therapist for you is an important step. I offer a free 15 min phone consultation so together we can decide whether I could offer you the support you need right now. I have a small private practice, on Wednesdays (day time) and some evenings.
