I am a psychosexually-informed humanistic counsellor, offering support to individual adults with a diverse range of concerns. Human beings are fundamentally social creatures, shaped by core relationships during childhood and beyond. Together, we can explore how you relate to yourself and others, helping identify patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that you would like to challenge in order to enjoy more fulfilling relationships. I offer a warm, safe and accepting space for becoming curious about how it feels to be you right now. Whatever you choose to share will be met with compassion and sensitivity.
A humanistic counsellor, I believe in our innate capacity for healing and growth and the potential of the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for meaningful, lasting change. In recent years, I have developed a passion for supporting people with sexual and relationship issues, offering both short- and long-term, open-ended counselling.
For many of us, having a trusted person who will listen deeply to you, without judgment or advice-giving, is a rarity. I recognise from my personal therapeutic journey that whilst sharing your story with a relative stranger may feel scary and exposing at times, being witnessed by another in this relational space can be deeply transformative.
