I am a warm, friendly person and have experienced the positive, life changing affects that counselling can have on a person. I work hard to create a trusting therapeutic relationship with you so that you can feel safe and supported in our sessions together. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, because only you know how it really feels to be you and that can feel like a lonely place sometimes. Together, we can explore what is causing your distress and find ways to help. I have a lot of experience working with anxiety and have witnessed how overwhelming it can be and the affect it can have on your quality of life.
I work with age 18+ with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, chronic health & disabilities. I have experience working with end of life care & those with a life limiting diagnosis. I have lived experience of Autism & ADHD and know the struggles that parents can have with this.
The counselling relationship is a personal one, so it is important that you take your time finding the right person for you. You need to feel safe, respected and comfortable in your sessions and know that you can trust your counsellor to always have your best interest as the focus of the therapy.
