I am an experienced and accredited counsellor working with people of all backgrounds. I offer a safe listening space for clients to speak freely about whatever is troubling them. I work in an integrative way bringing in different approaches based on the individual needs of each person. This includes creative techniques, person centred and CBT approaches. I offer short and long term sessions in Lewisham plus telephone and online counselling to individuals and couples. Recently I qualified as an EMDR therapist and offer this to clients with disturbing memories or trauma that want to let go of the past (see my website for details).
I have worked in schools, for charities and privately with children, young people and adults including those from LGBTQ+ communities and people living with HIV. I have worked with many children and young people going through disputes with friends, family conflicts, academic issues, gender and sexuality exploration and change and relationship issues.
I am also a Clinical Supervisor offering supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors individually or in groups. I have run group sessions and workshops with children, adolescents and young adults on diverse personal, emotional, mental health and sexual health topics.
