Are you looking to find your self-worth again after traumatic events or an abusive relationship? Do you need a trauma-led therapist who can help empower you in a safe and empathic way? I work with those who are in, trying to leave, or who have left, an abusive relationship and want to shed the trauma bonds and find their self-worth again. I have experience surviving domestic abuse. I work with others looking to heal from abuse, trauma bonding, and co-dependency, helping you understand how trauma affects your mind, body, and well-being. to navigate your way through the shame, guilt, and fear in a safe way.
We can work together to ensure that you are not re-traumatised during our sessions, by creating safety and trust. I am a certified trauma therapist and I work in-person in Leeds, LS27 and online across the UK with people affected by domestic abuse experiencing trauma-bonding, shame, flashbacks, nightmares, emotional shutdown and hypervigilance.
I started therapy after domestic abuse so I know first-hand that taking the first step into counselling can be scary, it is ok to be nervous.
